I love exploring and experiencing the world we live in. Kansas is the 7th state I have lived in! I was born and raised in Michigan but left to serve 6 years in the United States Coast Guard. Both my undergrad and graduate degrees are from Montana State University - GO CATS!
The picture to the left is me enjoying an incredible lobster meal in Eastern Iceland just last year. The last picture on this page is of me and my wife enjoying ice cream. On the home page is a picture of me and my kiddos after a mud 5K. We are an active family and absolutely LOVE food.

I started NourishOps after years in high-stakes clinical environments, specializing in renal nutrition where precision isn't just a goal—it's a requirement. My background as a Registered Dietitian taught me that managing complex health conditions requires more than just advice; it requires an operational approach that fits into a busy, real-world lifestyle.

Nutrition, as you would expect, is incredibly important to me. I lost my Mother in 2023 due to complications of congestive heart failure and diabetes. Her diabetes diagnosis when I was 11 years old highlighted the importance of our
diet. I grew up in a hamburger household. My children have grown up with the abundance of fresh fruits and vegetables and understanding the main nutrient components of a good meal: Protein, Fats, and Carbohydrates.
Beyond clinical practice, my work in food safety and operational advising showed me the massive gap between knowing nutritional science and executing it safely. I have a passion for consumer product goods and bringing them up to the complexities of labeling requirements and food safety. Whether I'm building HACCP plans for food-focused organizations or helping individuals navigate chronic illness, my focus remains the same: making nutrition both safe and practical.
NourishOps was born from the mission to make clinical-grade oversight understandable and assessable. I believe that people and organizations deserve a partner who understands both the biology of nutrition and the logistics of food service.
